Perfect age gap?👶🏽👦🏽👧🏽

Question

So me and my husband know we want another kid.. just not when.😂 So my question is what's the age gap between your kids or what's the age gap you want between your kids. Also anyone else really want a boy now. I have a girl but I really want a boy now since 2 kids is my max. Boy or girl they'll be loved but I just like the idea of family balancing.

For me 3-5 years is perfect. I read a study once that also supported that stating that it gives the other child the much needed bonding time. My son was 4 when I had my daughter and he has been the best big brother. He was old enough to understand how to be gentle and love her. He's 6 now and she's 2. He's very protective of her and goes out of his way to teach her things he's learned in school and he's extremely patient with her. I feel like had they been closer in age he wouldn't of been as patient.

My brother and I are and year and a half apart my mom got pregnant with my brother when I was like 8 months old and it's perfect! We liked the same

My brother and I were four years apart and we hated each other until we were both teenagers. All my friends that were closer in age shared friends and were into the same things, got to play on the same teams, etc, and seemed to genuinely enjoy each other. My brother and I just fought all the time. Lol

I've gone for 3-5 but really I want 18 months- 3 years. That's just personal opinion,  my brother is 4 and a half years older than me and it was amazing growing up, all of his friends even doted on me as most of them had brothers. But my SO has 2 children already, both barely a year apart, although they aren't allowed in our lives (his ex is a little bit psycho crazy, often threatening, was abusive to him), one day they may be and I'd like our children to be a little bit younger and a couple years a part.

Honestly the age gap can different depending on parenting and surroundings. By that I mean, do the parents teach the children to get along and play well together? And are there many children in the neighborhood for your kids to play with or do they only have each other? 
Growing up I was 5 years apart from my sisters and they were 18 months apart. I never got along with them but they were best friends growing up. So I guess it depends. That's just my opinion tho.. Find what's best for your family 😊 Good luck!

My son will be 5 by the time his brother is born! He's so excited, he's fully aware of what happening, wants to help plan the nursery, he kisses my belly every night and tells me he loves baby.. 
I'm glad I didn't leave it any longer though or had one too soon after .. I can get help from my son when appropriate but he's still young enough for them to be able to play when babies a little older :)

My sister and I were 5 1/2 years apart. We never got along bc when she was older she had to do baby stuff with me. Then she was too cool for me. Weird age gap, at least for us. My step son will be 8 years older than my son. He is going to be a great big brother and is old enough to understand what to do with a baby. I also think 1-2 years is awesome because is seems like all my friends with close in age siblings are really close.

My daughter is 6 and my son is 9 months we had 2 miscarriages in between them . I feel like my daughter and son are too far apart in age . But I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant . So my son and the baby will be a lot closer in age
