Are hotdogs safe???

I'm in loveeeee 😍😍😍😍 with the footlong coney from Sonic and I just ate 1....when Hubby called and asked what i had for lunch i told him and he completely cursed me out and reminded me that hotdogs are on the list of food that I can not eat. I completely forgot and now im scared...is this ok or no because I'm freaking out and he's making it worse!!!!

Unless you are an uncooked hotdog, you're in the clear. Tell husband to calm down :)

The problem with them is that they have nitrates and are considered unhealthy. You're fine if you ate one, just don't eat them all the time. And of course, as was mentioned in the other comments, make sure they're cooked! 😁

My doctor said hotdogs are a no. But reading all these more positive comments makes me feel like I neeeed a cheese dog!

That's one of the foods my doctor actually mentioned saying you can eat it but warm it up first.

I've heard that hot dogs and other sausages are okay if fully and properly heated before eating.  That said,  they contain a lot preservatives and salt and fat, so should be eaten in moderation.

It's fine as long as that's not all your eating lol. I ate anything I wanted with my son and I plan on eating anything I want with this baby too. Nothing ever happened to my son and he's turnin 6 in August and he's perfectly fine and comfortable.
