I mean it's not unheard of but I personally feel that I wouldn't have much in common with someone who's that much older. My ideal age gap is 5-7 years but at the end of the day, as long as you're legal, age is just a number. You can't help who you fall for.

I actually like older guys. And it's better if he's older than you (about 10 years or so) bc guys your age can tend to be in competition with you and guys older are more willing to settle down.

To an extent. I'm 25, my current partner is 21, which is the youngest I'll go (if you're too young to get into a bar in the US with me, you're too young for me) and on the older end, my rule is around 40, but somewhat flexible.

Not at all! But as someone else mentioned they can cause problems because the two people are at completely different stages in their lives. I think that big age gaps are like a fling nothing serious long term. Although they can last years, I know, I knew it wouldn't be forever. You have to think about your future too. But just for dating I say no problem at all! Then long term if you're both willing to compromise things because age gaps that's a given. But again think about you and your future first!

You can't help who you fall in love with. As long as it's legal, there's nothing wrong with an age gap. It could just make things complicated. My cousin dated a man 17 years older than her when she was in her early twenties, and that on top of long distance for half the year broke their relationship apart. He wanted to get married and have a family as he was in his late 30s, but my cousin hadnt even graduated college yet. Age gaps can sometimes cause a disconnect like this
