Do you consider your SO dreaming about an ex cheating?

A lot of evidence shows that dreams are mostly what you've been thinking about lately right? Correct me if I'm wrong, I won't be offended. And if you don't think it's cheating, how do you feel about it ladies? Do you seldom dream about an ex yourself?

Dreams are what you've been thinking about but it's more so your subconscious at work and telling stories of what's happening deep inside. They aren't literal though. Meaning just because you dream of an ex doesn't mean you want an ex. Your ex can literally be symbolic of something else in your subconscious. It might represent the past, or a time in your life that you need to grow from, or aspects of that person you may need to obtain to move forward, or even hurtful things he's done to you that she could have also complained about. I mean there is a variety of things other than still wanting your ex on why one might dream of an ex so it's never literal. You can dream of falling off a cliff. It doesn't mean you want to go dive off of Mt. Everest to experience what it's like. Your subconscious has a way of sorting things out and it does that through dreams and unless you can remember the full dream and decode and interpret those meanings, they are just dreams. Nothing to be taken literally. If you can decode and interpret dreams though, they are actually Road maps to who you are, your mental state, and the answers to your realities. Brains are amazing they are.

While dreams are a sign of what a person has been thinking of, you can also rarely control your dreams. A couple nights ago, I dreamed I was cheating on my boyfriend with two other guys. I felt disgusting, but could do nothing to stop it. (I sure was relieved when I woke up!) Dreams are just dreams in my opinion.

I've had nightmares of my boyfriend being abusive towards me (I was sexually abused when I was very young), but that doesn't mean I want him to hurt me like that. Dreams can't be controlled, so no, it isn't cheating

Definitely not true at all! I've had dreams about my ex during my relationship and that doesn't mean anything at all and certainly doesn't mean I'm cheating. You can't control what you dream about.

You can't regulate your dreams, let alone someone else's. If he's really enjoying it, it's a potential problem.
