experiences with clomid?☺️

Question

I just started taking clomid and progesterone, what are your experiences with either of them if you've taken them. I just wanna know what I'm in for and how long it took you to get pregnant ☺️

Unfortunately Clomid didn't work for me.  I tried 8 months of it (4 months at 50mg then 4 of 100mg).  Side effects were not my favorite.  If I took it in the morning I was a bucket of tears by mid afternoon. If I took it at night before bed it gave me insomnia. I preferred being tired over crying for no reason.  I don't think I always ovulated with it.

That being said - after that 8 months i was referred to a fertility specialist and started on Femara with an ovrigel trigger shot. The second month of that combo worked. I have a beautiful 7.5 month old (currently napping) baby boy.

Don't give up.  Not all meds work for every person.  I hope Clomid works for you and doesn't make you cry 😀.

I took clomid for two months and conceived the second month on it. I now have a handsome 4 month old baby boy

I am on my second round of clomid. I am 6dpo today. I am on it due to long cycles and it is helping me ovulate earlier. My side effects were headaches, extreme tiredness, dry skin/rash and grumpiness.
