Pregnancy and Medicaid

Pamela
So just as a disclosure I work a full time 40 hour a week job with pretty nice pay so.... Friday I'm going to my "proof of pregnancy" appt. This appt is required in order for me to apply for SC medicaid. Like I said I work a full time job but medical insurance is just so dang expensive now! Its available through my work but its just as expensive as private insurance. I was wondering if any other mommies have medicaid or your states equivalent of the medicaid program. How hard was it to get, how good is your doctor, and how long was the waiting period for your first OB appointment? I'm concerned that bc I don't have private insurance me and my unborn will be treated differently and that's just not okay!! TIA!!!
