Strep Throat Swelling!!!

Any ideas or advice to prevent or lower the swelling of the tonsils? I have strep throat and I just want to get through all the antibiotics without any trouble. I don't really like how the opening of my throat looks a bit smaller than before. Help is much appreciated.
