1st ultrasound at 10 weeks?!?

I called yesterday to schedule my 1st appointment and they didnt set it until 10 weeks, is that normal? It seems so late! I've heard they make you wait until 8 wks , but 10... I'm just eager to see and know everything is healthy!

That's pretty normal if you have no history of problems. That way baby will be easy to find and will definitely have a heartbeat. That way you're not left to worry if they couldn't find the right things due to baby being too small.

Ugh!! I so understand how you feel. I found out I was pregnant on April 26th 2020, which according to my last period put me at 7W3D, and my first appointment isn’t until May 19th.. where I’ll be 2 days shy of 12 weeks. Lol 
My very first appointment I’ll be able to do the genetic testing that reveals the baby’s gender..... it’s so crazy.

Wow you poor ladies i had my 1st at 6 and 3 to confirm saw the heart beat an all my next one is at 12ish weeks then being of advanced maternal age lol and high risk i will have close to 10 ultrasounds throughout this pregnancy i think i had about 10 last time 1st one i think i got 4 maybe and 1 xray second i only  got 3 the more high risk the more u get i guess

I feel your pain. I have to wait 4.5 weeks for my first one (they're having me come at 8wks)

I didn't get an appointment till 13 weeks and I was bleeding really heavy from 5+ weeks so 10 weeks should be fine☺️
