I have been thinking about getting the Paragard IUD I heard that it hurts and I was just wondering and if it hurt anyone else to get it put in.

It hurts going in a little. Nothing I couldn't handle. Haven't had it out yet so couldn't tell you about that

Yes, definitely take Tylenol or something before you go in. I didn't take any medicine before I went and all I felt was some discomfort and this was also 6 weeks after I had my daughter so I was still dilated a little as well.

I got mirena and it didnt hurt more than a little teeny pinch.

Mine hurry pretty bad to get put in and I had horrible cramps for the days after. I hardly notice it now.
