Baby in own room?

Hey December Momma's! I'm posting to ask if or when you plan on placing your little one in their own room!
My cupcake will be 6 months on the 20, and besides the fact she moves in her sleep about 10x a night, it's about time she goes in her room....maybe

My little guy has been in his crib in his own room for two weeks now. He is almost six months old and was previously sleeping in his rock and play next to our bed. I'll be honest, it was waaaaay harder for me than it was for him to make the big move. I was constantly checking on him that first night. But that's all it took. After the first night of being able to actually watch tv in our room again and relax with the bedside lamps on (it's the little things 😊) I was sold on him being in his crib. We had some difficult nights, but now I think we've got it! I know it's hard, but just think of the smiles you get in the morning when you leave baby sees you! 😍

Never! I can't imagine my baby not sleeping in the same room as me 😬 but really though, probably not until she's done breastfeeding and I don't plan on weaning until after she's one at least. We shall see!

Nope. Ended up moving the crib into my room after he outgrew the pack n play. I'm not ready. He sleeps thru the night and isn't a bother. I sleep better knowing he is right here. 
Moving the crib into my room was no easy feat! I had to take the whole thing apart and put it back together in my room! But I love it. I think I will keep him in here until his first birthday.

My baby has been sleeping in her room from 2 months old.

We did it at 3.5 months and it has been AMAZING. The whole family sleeps so much better!

How do you get them to sleep in their own space? My baby will not sleep unless she's in our bed lol I don't mind, but she is such a bed hog sometimes.

I don't have a choice lol! We have a two bedroom apartment but the downstairs won't be able to be turned into a room to live in, our upstairs room is divided in half by a cubbyhole bookshelf type thing, his baby nook has his crib and such, even that is too far for us 😂 he still feeds throughout the night so we snuggle and I'm basically an all night breastmilk buffet, whatever haha. I'll probably think about transferring him when nighttime feedings become less or I wean him. Who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ idk I give up doing research 😑

Since last night 😪 I miss her in the bassinet next to me. But I know this needs to be done. Bed sharing is a no go with my flailer of a husband and I think it's what's best, but doesn't mean I'm not ready. She's doing just fine, she's always been an excellent sleeper. Just bittersweet to see my babe growing up in a hurry.  Time goes too fast ☹️

He's been in his own room since just about 3 months. He was almost too big for the bassinet at that point, so we started by moving the bassinet in there and then moved him into his crib. I have a video monitor so it's not too bad, but I had a hard time with it for the first couple nights.

I ebf and we moved him 2 weeks ago. I still get up 2x a night but it is worth it to have our room back🙏🏼
