What do you guys think about the old wives tale that says a youngest child knows when their mom is pregnant and will act up as a result?

I'm not sure what I think about it, but the kid I nanny has been especially whiny and prone to throwing huge tantrums the last couple of weeks, and I'm 3 days late.

My son was fine when I was pregnant with his brother. I mean, he was a toddler so he always had his bad days, but that just comes with that stage of development.

I wouldn't say old wives tale. More like kids are very intuitive and sensitive to certain things. My son told me I was pregnant for about a week before I was decided to test. He kept saying "My brother and sister..."

So yeah kids are just intuitive and sensitive to things. Kids can feel things and emotions that us adults just can't.

I don't put much into old wives tales but I work at a daycare and kids can tell when adults are upset or behaving weirdly and they change their behavior accordingly.

This would be interesting. My son is the absolute definition of a mamas boy, but lately he is suuuuper affectionate - constantly hugging me and cries when I drop him off to go to work. I don't know if I'm pregnant but my boobs have been really sore for 4 days and my period isn't due for 11 days.

My eldest son knew I was pregnant way before we told the kids. He told me it was a boys from the start. I have three boys. He knew all along
