I have a serious question. *names and details are changed for privacy purposes. This situation is hypothetical, based off of a friend's experience and similar situations*

I have a couple of friends, we will call them Anna and Katie.

Anna was talking about an experience she had with a guy (We will call him Drew). She and Drew were out as friends at a club listening to music with a group of friends. Anna has a boyfriend, who is out of town right now. Anna and Drew both got very, very drunk together, and ended up hooking up. Anna woke up the next morning next to Drew. When she asked Drew what happened, he explained that she asked to go to his place with him and they had sex. Anna freaked out, because she cheated on her boyfriend. Other people who were there state Anna was all over Drew at the club, and Drew's roommate says that Anna seemed to know what she was doing and was undressing Drew in his living room before they moved to his room. Drew swears that she initiated the sex and that she was awake and participating the entire time.

However.

When Anna came for advice, Katie said she didn't cheat, Drew raped her. The reason being, Anna was too drunk to remember, and while Drew was drunk, too, he shouldn't have let her have sex with him since it seems he was less drunk than Anna.

So now Anna is considering pressing charges against Drew, because of this. She is blaming Drew for ruining her relationship and wants to press charges to get back at him.

Was she reallly raped? Or is she just regretting making a bad decision and looking for a way to blame someone else?

Is she right to press charges? What would you do?
