back pain and period cramps

I'm 30 weeks pregnant, I switched doctors 2 weeks ago but it hasn't gone through yet because they haven't gotten my medical records still. So I have no doctor to call. Over the last hour I've had bad period cramps and a dull ache in my lower back and my hips. Baby is still kicking and moving around. I just don't know what to do or how long to wait before going into L&D. I'm currently eating and drinking some water to see if that helps
