For those who didn't do CIO... how do you expect childcare workers to put your baby down for a nap? What would be acceptable to you and what wouldn't be? How did you get your baby ready for another caregiver? My baby will be 13 months when she goes to daycare and right now she's 6 months old and I bounce/nurse her to sleep. We interviewed a home daycare today and the lady said she tries to just put them in their playpens and if they cry she puts on light music and rubs their back... she suggested I start doing that now but it just breaks my heart... I don't even know how to do this because my DD has issues nursing and will only take a full feed when she's sleepy... how do I get her ready for daycare?? What's normal??
