Mom (baby's grandmother) doesn't like our name choice...
My husband and I decided to name our first baby (girl) Michelle Lorraine. My Mom's name is Michelle and his Mom's middle name was Lorraine, RIP Nana 💕, so the name means a lot to both of us.
My mom hates the idea. She is constantly sending me other names as ideas and says she just thinks it's too soon to name someone after her. She would prefer that our second daughter, if we have another daughter, have Michelle as their middle name.
Obviously I know it's our choice and she doesn't have to like it but it is my mom we're talking about. I am a little disappointed that she doesn't feel honored to have our first baby named after her. It's pretty annoying! 😒🤦🏼♀️
