First apt questions

Okay so I have my first obgyn apt tomorrow and I'm debating whether I should take my 5 year old son with me or not. I want to take him cause I'm suppose to get an ultrasound done and I think that would be cool for him to witness and maybe help him understand more there really is a baby coming. But I'm not sure it's a good idea for him to watch the doctor do like my pap smear and all the other stuff what do you ladies think? Bring him with or get a babysitter?
