So I turn 17 in exactly 1 week. I met this amazing guy over 2 years ago. We dated for a couple months long distance but it was a rather insignificant relationship. We broke up because we had a huge disagreement about LGBT rights. In about October of 2016, we reconnected, all of our previous disagreements and stuff turned and we always agreed on everything. We were both in relationships so we couldn't date but it was almost as if we were having an emotional affair with each other. Sounds more dramatic than it was lol. We became BEST friends. Like #1. I broke up with my boyfriend because I saw what I was missing out on and I wanted to go after it. After that, he went on to tell me that he loved me and wanted to be with me. I tried to get around it because he was still taken even though I wanted to tell him the same. So a couple days later he breaks up with his gf. I comfort him because I'm his best friend and we text 24/7. About 3 days later, he asked me to be his girlfriend. (3/17/17). Now, I know you're all thinking this is some bs teen puppy love but our relationship is seriously anything I could ever want it to be. Only 3 weeks after we started dating, he was shipped off to Basic Training for the Army. So now here we are, he's put marriage on the table for in the future when it's plausible (I turn 18, have a job, finish school, his job, etc) and I can't be more ecstatic about it. I'm so glad to have found someone so made for me and I just had to rant about how much I love this man. I do need advice about meeting him in person for the first time. He comes in EITHER 1 week or around September. Wide gap lol. I've never done a big first meeting like at an airport and shit and I have no idea what to wear, what to say, how to behave like a normal human. Agh, our relationship isn't normal so that's out the window anyway. Anyway, some advice on those topics would be greatly appreciated, especially if you read this far. Thank you❤❤
