My CHD warrior, Rest Easy Ayla Grace.

Tina
Today you're supposed to be 6 months old. I'm crushed, I miss you and I don't know what to do.
Back story.
My daughter was born with CHD, diagnosed at 2 days old. She had 2 surgeries by a month old. She was diagnosed with necrosis after her second surgery.
May 11th she had her first open heart. She coded that night, we lost her for an hour. They put her on life support in hope of her recovering on her own, with the help of the life support to give her heart a break to heal.. the neurologist put EEG leads on her head to detect seizures.
May 15th at 10:00 they said she had over 53% brain damage done and less than 10% chance to ever move or talk.
At 12:00 I noticed her eyes change. The neurology team came up and looked at her. They said she was 100% brain dead and it was the worse they could see. May 15th. 6:00pm. Our family gathered around to be with us as she passed away in my arms.
