Should stores be allowed to have a smoking section and ashtray right outside of their entrances/exits?

I for one do not think it should be allowed. If people want to smoke they can smoke in their own cars or if the employees want to smoke there should be a designated smoking area for them in the back away from customers. I hate how Walmart has ashtrays literally right in front of their doors. I'm pregnant so the last thing I want to do is breath in other people's smoke as I'm trying to walk in a store. It drives me nuts.

Where I live you can't smoke within 15-20ft from a building (besides private property like your house). Lots of places will also have designated smoking areas as well. I personally get really sick from smoke (not just cigarette smoke) so I really appreciate it. Otherwise I have to cover my mouth and nose and hold my breath walking by and I feel so rude and awful doing that- but otherwise I end up with a god awful cough and sore throats for a few days after I've been seriously sick. But you can't explain that to people you're just walking by every time.

I smoked for 10 yrs and never did so in front of a building. I never even liked letting small children seeing me do it. I thought most states have a 15 foot from the entrance law now?

i hate that shit too😩 i live in vegas as well so most of our movie theaters, restaurants, bowling alleys, etc are all inside casinos where smoking is allowed🙄 i cant stand it. the only thing i miss about living in IL is the no smoking laws lol

I dont care if ppl smoke outside what bothers me is when they do it next to the entrance or exit of stores where I can't clearly dodge the smoke you would think they had a brain and be more considerate of others that don't want to breathe it in
