Irregular period?

I've been on the pill for like a month now, and lately I have been taking it kind of irregularly because I kept forgetting, I'm not sexually active, but since I've been taking it irregularly, I've had my period for two weeks straight now is this normal?

Answer

I find when I forget I can get some spotting or my period starting early. Once you get consistent about taking your birth control it should work itself out and for me I even have a much lighter period on the pill. I take my pill when I wake up and use the bathroom in the morning so I don't forget later in the day
