Bleeding at 7 weeks

So I am having some bleeding. It is red and it is more than spotting but not as heavy as a period. No to slight cramping. I have been under extreme stress at work. Have any of you experienced bleeding like this without it resulting in a miscarraige or is that what it sounds like to you? If you have miscarried what were your symptoms? Waiting for a call back from my OB. We saw the heartbeat on an early scan.
