what to do?

Question

My daughter is almost 4 months. 
Hasn't rolled over, not rushing it but I know it should have happened or happen soon. She will go to her side then stop. Also since day one she has hated tummy time. It will last all of 5 min then she starts getting mad. With this being said I'm curious if it is necessary to keep trying. She has great head control an is very strong. Also when being held she pushes off me so I figure it's the same concept. 
Any help or advise ?

Don't worry she will get there. My baby is 4mo and couldn't be bothered to roll over either. She would much rather sit up. I'm not concerned and neither is my doctor.
I joke with my husband that as long as she figures out how to roll over before she moves out we're good.

My baby girl is 4 months and a week and she hasn't rolled. She will lay on her back and go to side but goes straight back. She hates tummy time as well. She freaks if she's on her stomach. I've heard some babies just skip rolling and if she doesn't want to roll then I'm not going to fret about it. We just tell her she's a little too chunky right now 😂

My son just turned 4 months and he's rolled over 3 times about a month or so ago, from his tummy to back. He shows no signs of ever rolling again ha. He's tolerating tummy time more now, but he will shuffle himself so he completely spins directions but won't roll.

Keep trying! My daughter hated it! Wouldn't last two minutes without screaming.
This last week I was putting her down and she rolled from back to tummy (first time not on a soft surface) and then rolled back to her back. As soon as she did that she wouldn't stop. Now since then she loves it. At least for 10-15 minutes now before she's over it lol.

Try tummy time with you laying down and her on top, it still counts. Can baby roll from back to belly? If not consider putting baby on the couch or a bed on their back and get close to their level at the edge and entice them to move in your direction.

I read your comment this morning and I got kinda nervous about our 4 month appointment and them asking if our monkey was rolling. And having to say no. Well this afternoon my little man rolled from his back to his belly and then kept going and rolled 3 more times. So he is now rolling from both back to belly and belly to back. Hang in there momma. When they decide to go, there's no stopping them. Lol

Keep trying tummy time. She might decide she likes it one day! Try to keep her entertained and distracted while you do it.

And don't take for granted that she can't roll over. She'll do it when you least expect it. I've definitely had some close calls even when she's right next to me in the couch!

So my baby is 15w5d and she just rolled over for the first time this morning. She was going to her side and stopping for the longest side too!

Here's what we did:

-she does tummy time looking at a pop up book. We can usually get though two pop up books before she starts crying
-this morning when she rolled to her side, I brought the book above her head so that she was inclined to move that way so she could see it. 
-the process of her "flipping over" honestly took several minutes. Lol! I always thought it would be a quick thing at first

Don't worry.  My son is 4 months a few days ago and just rolled to his stomach finally pulled his arm out,... then last night rolled back over to back!  It happens fast.  He had gone to his side several times.   And his tummy but his arm was stuck under him.  He finally figured it out and now it's all the time.  Don't worry... 🙂.  Your LO will do it soon!!

My daughter is 4 1/2 months old. She just rolled over for the first time today! She's a tummy sleeper. When she woke up from a nap she was on her back! So excited!
