is cramping normal?

Been having light but constant cramps. I am 5 weeks so I am just curious as I have read this is normal.

Yes. In my 12th week, still get occasional cramping. Growing pains as the uterus expands. 
6 weeks can be early for a heartbeat, my doc didn't have me come in until 8. Good luck though.

It's totally normal, lots of people cramp during their first trimester, I cramped loads to the point I thought it was period cramp. Don't worry :)
