Medical Card Thoughts..?

Question

Some people have told me to drop my regular insurance that's almost $200/month and get on the medical card now that I'm pregnant. What are everyone's thoughts on this? I heard from a family member I will get crappy service if I have the medical card. Has anyone ever switched from regular insurance to the medical card?

I'm not quite sure if it's your own insurance. But for me I'm still under my moms and it doesn't cover my prenatal care so I had to get on Medicaid. And I go the same obgyn office I did before I was pregnant(and it's a really nice place). And they've paid for everything. My insurance covers 80% of my birth and Medicaid pays the rest.

I have medical card, and I dont get treated crappy. In fact they take Care of so much and when your pregnant it helps a lot. But if you have good insurance and can easily afford it then i would keep it.
