I've never been one to dream about my "fairytale wedding" in fact, if it were up to me, I wouldn't get married at all. My parents insist on it so I have to respect that.
After helping my SO's sister plan her wedding and seeing first hand how stressful and expensive the whole ordeal was, we decided that we'll be skipping the crap and using that money to get our life started and do stuff we actually want to do. We're skipping the wedding and going straight for the honeymoon 😊
Has anyone else done this? Am I absolutely irrational for not caring about the dress, ring, flowers and gifts? It all seems unnecessary to me. That's just my opinion, obviously no disrespect to those of you that love celebration ☺️to each their own!
