IUD??

Question

I'm thinking of getting an IUD. Comment what your experience with insertion and side effects. Trying to see if it's worth it.

I got mine inserted last Wednesday. The pain was the worst thing I've ever experienced. I almost threw up afterwards. The cramps were absolutely awful. BUT I have a much better peace of mind now and am glad that my period will stop eventually. I'm still experiencing some bad cramping but for some reason it's only from 2-4PM and some pretty heavy spotting. Also my body is having a bit of a hard time adjusting to the hormones and I have this urge to cry about everything but once this all calms down I'll be good to go. In five years I will be getting another. I have mirena btw
