Coming out stories??

Been in the process of my 110% come out to everyone! How did y'all go through it all and any advice?? 😩💜

"No"

"Then you can't be bisexual"

"I said pansexual"

"It's the same thing"

"Okay but I haven't had sex with a guy yet either so how do I know I'm straight?"

"You just are"

I shouted over my screaming baby to my husband. He shrugged and said he still loved me even if sometimes I'd prefer women over him. Sent memes to a couple friends. That's about as exciting as my coming out got.

I wrote my mom a little note on a piece of paper and put it on her desk (she works at home) and I told her that the girl that was spending the night and that would come over countless times was my girlfriend not just my friend 
She asked if I was confused or wanted attention, I said no and she said "Whatever floats your boat" and never once has she judged me, just questions me because she wants to better understand and make sure she doesn't offend me on accident by being clueless 
You just have to understand that some people are ignorant, and older generations don't understand that it's okay because they didn't grow up in a time that it was so acceptable 
Be open to criticism and ignorance because some people are just assholes and you don't need those kinds of people if they don't want to support you 
Sometimes it seems terrifying but it'll bring out the true colors of your parents, friends, family and that can be rewarding ❤️💛💚💙💜

Definitely the hardest was coming out to my dad. He's said some really homophobic things before (he's very decidedly conservative) and I was super worried about it. I knew I couldn't do it in person without rambling and making it worse, and I wanted to give him time to process. So I wrote him a letter. I wrote several drafts, but I'm glad I did it. It gave me the chance to really think about how to word it and how not to sound accusing.
He took it much better than I had expected, and he takes me to see my girlfriend all the time. However you do it, I wish you all the best. Good luck 😊

I planned on hiding in a closet and waiting for my brother to pass by so I could jump out and scream "HENLO I AM PAN" at him

I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I just mentioned it to my friends and they're all part of the LGBTQA+ community or an ally, so they were chill with it.

It came up casually in conversation with my dad,
And I came out to my mom while ranting about Homophobes.

I was panicked, not because I thought my mum wouldn't be accepting, but because I realised I had forgot to tell her after years of knowing I was queer. I thought I had told her already but realised I hadn't. So I spontaneously stormed into the kitchen the moment I realised I hadn't told her and kind of yelled "you know I'm not straight right?" And she stopped cutting dinner and said "I mean, I kind of figured" and kept cutting the dinner. She asked what I specifically identified as and I explained it all to her. She was so chill, and I knew she would because we tell each other almost everything. I just can't believe I forgot to tell her for so long. I genuinely thought she explicitly knew ahahaha 😂😂😂

So I have only recently just come out as Bi this year. I came out to my best friend in May. I dragged her into an empty classroom, shut the door and told her (and I quote) I'm not a heterosexual. I went on to explain I was bisexual and it went amazing. I then went on to tell my friends over the course of the week. Then my sister came to me on the first day of pride month and came out to me as Bi. That night I went to her room and came out to her and we spent the night making jokes and just laughing. Then we decided to tell the rest of our siblings (over a group chat we have on instagram.) I came out to my parents over text whilst they were out shopping because I am not very good with words. They came home and told me they still loved me and that I can love who ever I want to as long as that person makes me happy. My sister came out to them as they were putting the shopping away. (my dad then went and bought us chocolate for being brave) now we are both out and proud and recently just went to a pride parade.

Most of my friend just know me as bi (even though I'm really just going with queer for now, I don't want to confuse them while I'm figuring out my labels) and I just told them by taking them to the side and straight out (haha no pun intended) telling them "I am bi". But someone told me that my BFF was homophobic so I sent her an instasnap with all the Pride Month stickers on it. She thought I was joking so I explained it to her and then she was cool.

My parents found out when my first girlfriend (ex now) posted it on facebook without me knowing. Mom freaked out, dad was chill with it, sister has supported me throughout everything. My friends had known for a long time and now everybody knows so 🤷🏻‍♀️
