PCOS equals insulin resistance. Carbs/starch/sugar are all the same. Your body doesn't process them well or at all. Get to know your labels. When you see how much of those things you are ingesting youll understand why the weight won't come off. I stuck to 25 grams or less in carbs daily and the weight...111lbs, melted off.

I have pcos as well, and what has been working for me is staying on a ketogenic diet, drinking LOTS of water, trying to stay away from anything to drink other than water or coffee, and I'm a CNA, so I get about 7.5 hours of moderate intensity cardio 5-6 days a week. My doctor has told me that switching to a low carb lifestyle is one of the healthiest ways to lose weight.

Hi sister! 
Firstly stop worrying and trust me PCOS can be conquered.
In 2011 doctor told me that She cannot categorise me as typical PCOS patient but I have tendency to   Be one.
Now, fast forward to 2017. I have quite regular periods without any medicine. Here are the things I did
1. I went to gym like it is my basic necessity, loved strength training, occasionally Zumba or just walk in a park.
2. Ate loads of salads
3. Skipped lifts and elevators 
4. Ate almost no red meat 
5. Reduced carbs to just 20gms (brown rice)
6. Stoped breads of all kinds as they have sugar
7. Green tea 
8. One portion of fruits 
Lifestyle change helps tremendously. You should stick to it at least for 90 days to transform. Good luck and again it's no big deal.  If U r young avid bC pills ask doc if u can take 2 months time n fix your lifestyle.
