ITCHING , is it a yeast infection?

i am ITCHING LIKE CRAZY! i went to my regular doctor they said they couldn't do nothing because they can't look down there , then i went to a obgyn she only took my pee and said call back monday . so i said it's itching & i have discharge , she said yeast infections don't have discharge . so then i said can i use monistat to help with itching , she said i can but i got to read the directions. then i went and got some but the directions don't tell me nothing . please help . & i am sexually active & i always use condoms .
