How long did it take for your husband/SO to bond and love newborn?

My newborn is 2 weeks old and my husband still feels nothing for him. Just curious if anyone else has the same issue.

About 5-6 months. He loved her I knew that but they didn't really have much of a bond. He helped when I asked and would hold her so I could shower but he didn't come home from work and immediately grab her. Every guy is different and it's nothing to be ashamed of if he doesn't bond "the moment he saw her/him"

Did he say he didn't feel anything for the baby? I know a lot of times it takes our significant other longer to bond with baby since they didn't have the whole 9 months with baby inside of them like we do. Does he take part in caring for baby, or playing with baby stuff like that? Maybe that will help. Also keep in mind that newborns aren't too exciting since they sleep so much.

From the moment my daughter was born, probably because I let him do skin to skin with her first

The minute he saw her picture! He was deployed and when he got home you would have to pry the baby out of his cold lifeless hands before he would give her over 😂
