Miscarriage and Bleeding

Hey ladies!

I'm wanting information on how long some of you bled for after a miscarriage?

I miscarried last Wednesday at 5 1/2 weeks and bled heavily that day, spotted the next couple of days, then Sunday I started heavy bleeding and clotting (tmi but my clots do have a tissue like consistency to them). The doctor cannot really tell me what to expect and cannot tell me if I'm on my period or not. It's really confusing and painful, not to mention still heart broken. Can you ladies tell me your stories and what I should expect?
