Benadryl safe while ttc?

I have horrible seasonal allergies! The only allergy medication I can take is Benedryl... is it safe for me to continue to take a half pill or 1/4 dose every evening? If I was to learn I was pregnant I would of course stop immediately! But I want to know if it is okay to take while ttc?   I honestly have the most horrible allergies ever.

It is safe! I asked my GP about it because I was taking the often and was worried about it... but it can make TTC harder because antihistamines can dry up your CM.

I was in the same boat a few weeks ago. Going to tell you what my doctor told me.

1) purchase a air humindfier 
2) vacuum/sweep/clean countertops 
3) if you have to use a nasal spray -nothing fancy, no additives, just regular saline
4) if thats not enough... purchase eyedrops to help with the burning, but same as the saline. Nothing fancy, just regular eye drops
5) if you HAVE to take anything (pill wise) nothing that has Decongestion... benedryl is fine

I know that benydryl is safe for you. I'm not sure on the dosage.
