What is going on with me!?

Question

Last Friday at my OB appt I was 1cm dilated & 80% thinned. My doctor said I may not last a week. Well, as the day went on, I ended up losing my mucous plug, and was having lower back cramps. Come to find out, I was having contractions. I went to the hospital and they got to be 4 minutes apart. I got sent home because I wouldn't dilate past a 1. Well, ever since I left the hospital I have contractions EVERY DAY. They just aren't regular. So I have contractions every day. 
What is going on? When will I go into labor!? 😩 someone help.

Update;
For the last two nights I've had horrible irregular contractions and couldn't sleep longer than 10 mins at a time. I went to the hospital last night and I was actually dilated to a 2 1/2 and 80% thinned! Got sent home though cuz I stayed there at that. But j think I'm progressing if i was a 1 Friday and 2 1/2 now :)

I'm only 33 wks and had constractions, almost every day since Thursday, although I'm glad she hasn't come it makes me very anxious
