My older son who is 5 is just getting over Hand foot and mouth disease and now my 6 month old has it. He's had a fever of 100-102.5 all day. I've been giving him rounds of tylonel for his fever every 4 hours. But tonight has been MISERABLE. It's 4am and he's slept horrible, if he's not sleeping he's crying and when I try to nurse him he just bites me.🙁 My nipples are so sore and it doesn't help that he never took a pacifier and he's always been a "nurse to sleep" baby. I feel nauseated from no sleep and horrible because I can't help him feel better, nor do I know what going on! I'm assuming he may have blisters in his throat but I don't see any when I look.
