So I just had a baby in December and I'm thinking about switching my birth control method. I definitely want to have more kids but, we want to try and wait at least 3-5 years. Ive gone back to using condoms for a few years now. I stopped taking the pill and the shot because I felt like the hormones were making me crazy. Nick and I are getting weary of the feel of condoms. Also, we miss not having to stop in the heat of the moment. Has anyone tried the copper IUD? Im considering them but I have heard so many horror stories. (about punctured uterus', getting pregnant with the iud in there too, infections, cramping, irregular cycles, or ruining fertility. Any had experience with copper iuds. How did they work for u? Has anyone had sucess not getting pregnant with the rhythm method or similar natural methods?
