When they get your order wrong at a restaurant what do you do?

I'm not paying hard earned money for something I don't want to eat, I'm extremely picky.

How drastic of a wrong meal? Did I order steak and u gave me chicken...I'm sending back...did I ask for no carrots but u gave me them. I'm not going to complain.

The workers at burger king got my order wrong twice. Hell I still ate it, I didn't complain 😂 but if it was something completely different at an actual restaurant and not a take away, then I'd return it

I usually just eat it, especially if the restaurant is busy. I do have a friend with gluten & dairy allergies though and it  seems like they are always messing up  her order (including a bun, adding cheeses) so if you have allergies FOR SURE send it back.

I'm a waitress and from my experience, definitely send it back because if it's someone else's food or even if it's your but the wrong order, it's way less inconvenient to send it back.

Send it back. I'm practically allergic to everything or lots of things make me sick so there's usually only a couple things I can order on the menu. I wouldn't wanna risk that so I don't really have any other choice.

I eat it anyway and hope my family does not notice. I hate going out to eat because my family is rude as hell and it makes me feel uncomfortable for the waitress or waiter. If they were able to kindly say "excuse me, I ordered this but got this instead" in a nice way, I'd be fine. But no they have to make a big scene about it that it gives me anxiety just to go lol.
