My daughter had both a tongue and lip tie. We got both of them revised. She latched in better  and also it could affect her speech.

Yes it is. My son has it too. Speak to your pediatrician about your options. Sometimes parents choose to snip it depending on severity. Personally, I'm not doing anything since it doesn't affect my son. Sometimes if they have a tongue tie there is the possibility of their speech.
