sundae funday gender reveal ideas 💡

Thinking of having a "sundae funday" themed gender reveal: a sundae bar with different toppings. This party is for close family and friends so I'm thinking it should take place in the late afternoon, maybe 6 or 7ish. Therefore, we won't serve food. Just desserts. Any ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions? Should I include maybe finger foods? Or should I tell everyone invited that it'll just be desserts? I'm open to ideas! Thanks!
