Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post. I found out I was pregnant 1 week 1 day ago, which was Friday. I had a transvaginal US Monday, they saw a 3mm gestational sac and hcg was 33. I had another blood test Thursday and it was only 35. I started spotting that day and bleeding the next like a period. I was pretty sure I was miscarrying, so I went to the Dr and had another blood test, which came back as 38. Obviously no where near doubling, but I'm confusing at why it went up if I'm bleeding?! I don't have much hope, but is that normal? My mom said she had periods when she was pregnant but has no clue what he levels were. I'm irritated that if I'm miscarrying, which is likely, I'm being denied the process of finding closure because the number went up and I have to keep treating myself like I'm pregnant because of the like .01% chance it could work out. So is it normal for hcg to rise a bit through a miscarriage?
