Third gender??

Question

I live in Oregon and they just passed a law allowing you to put a 3rd gender that is marked with an X instead of your normal M or F on your drivers license... What are your thoughts about this?

I think its dumb. I believe that there are 2 genders male and female, not 32 or however many they invented. Granted, sone people are trans, but they are still either a man or a woman. Just like oregon passing that stupid bill stating that men and women are guaranteed an equal pay. For starters, there's no wage gap so that bill is not needed. And in most job fields (that does not include fast food workers), pay is based on experience. If you are hired as entry level with not a lot of experience, you deserve to be paid minimum wage​ compared to someone with 2 years experience in that same field. Its a useless bill and it was just something liberals could fuss and whine about. But that's just my opinion. You can agree or disagree on your own terms.

I honestly don't think its my place to have an opinion on it. I consider myself a cis-gendered female who excepts other masculine traits of myself but I am not going to say whether or not its right or wrong for someone who either is genderfluid or not to have the ability to mark X instead of M or F.

It's not my place.
