When is it safe?

Hey ladies!

Is it safe to have sex a week after your period with out getting pregnant? 
We using protection but accidents happend! We try to avoid pregnancy ..
I know during ovulation is a higher chance to get pregnant.. but if im not ovulating can i still get pregnant? When is the lower risk of pregnancy?

There really is no, low risk time. If you're using protection then you have nothing to worry about. But yes avoid having sex on your fertile window.

Unless you really track your ovulation (with tests and stuff not this app) theres no way to tell you when the low risk time is. Typically the average cycle ovulates around day 10-14 so if you have sex a week after your period your probably in that time frame or about to be (sperm can stay in you for 6 days)

If you're not ovulating then no, you cannot get pregnant. There needs to be an egg released in order to conceive. If you are ovulating then a week after your period would be a high risk time. There really isn't a "safe" time to have unprotected sex if you're trying to prevent. Use protection properly and you'll be fine
