12 week appt today
Had our 12 week appt today! Pretty basic but got to hear the heartbeat with the Doppler which was very exciting. I was a nervous wreck going into it because this was how we learned of our miscarriage back in August, but midwife found it right away. Such a relief.
Now to survive the genetic counseling appt tomorrow. I know my chances of being a Tay Sachs carrier are relatively low (my family's Jewish ancestry is unconfirmed speculation) but it's still making me stressed. Once we are through this I feel like I can really relax and be excited. Fingers crossed!!
