So needless to say.... my sons father and I are not together. My baby is 2 months old and BF... Long story short, he's gone from not supporting him at all - to wanting 50/50 shared custody. And is requesting that he be with him half the time. "A sheriffs office rotation" as he calls it. (He was in law enforcement for 14 years) so 4 days one place, 3 the other and back and forth. I tried to explain that with the baby still so young and still nursing, it's highly unlikely for him to get THAT. And I think flip flopping like that is too much on a baby anyways 😔 And his is response is "Well that's what they make formula for." I know nothing about this custody stuff... so my main concern, would a judge honestly order me to feed my baby formula? And how likely is he to actually get half time with him? It's not that I don't want him to be in his life by any means. I do want my baby to have a relationship with his daddy, I just think what he's requesting is a little much at the moment.
