Provera...will it always be this bad?

My cycle is about every 77 days so my gyn put me on Provera to help regulate my period. I took Provera for 10 days, 10mg a day. No side effects or complaints at that point. I got my period exactly 3 days later and it...is...Terrible! Fatigue, bad cramps, bleeding through my pants, you name it!

Will all provera induced period always be like this? Or is it just because it is the first one? Anyone else experiencing this? Me and my husband are JUST starting our TTC journey. Hoping to try officially once the period from hell is over lol
