First Father's Day ... would you be upset?

Tomorrow is my husband's first Father's Day and instead of spending the day with our daughter (his ability to celebrate this day) he wants to go golf with his dad all day out of town. Would you be upset he's choosing his father (who he golfs with WEEKLY) Over our new family?

Yes and no. Yes because he should spend time with his kid on that day. No because he is spending time with his dad. And I know a lot of moms on Mother's Day want to be away from their kids lol. Just have a day to themselves.

Selfishly, yes...however, I would remind myself that it's his day, and if he wants to celebrate his dad on Father's Day that is ok. I think it would be ok for you to request that he spend at least some time with her though...even if it's just a few hours later in the day when they're done golfing...

I would be mad because my husband went golfing with his friends on Mother's Day 🙃 but in any other situation I think I'd be okay with it because he's with his dad?

I got some alone time on mothers day away from my baby...maybe do breakfast with him or something and let him have the rest of the day to do what he feels like?

I mean it's his day so he can pick how he spends it. I told my husband I'm going to see my dad and he can join or not. It's his day he can pick.
