everywhere I go

So I've noticed that when I go anywhere like store, doctors appointment etc I see little children 6-9 months old even 1 year old playing on their parents smartphones. When the parent takes it away they start screaming. Do you believe that babies shouldn't be on smartphone at that age because of the same reasons they say tv is not good for those ages?? What do you think about this topic like any opinions or facts please share in the comments
