Me and my fiance want to name out baby girl Yuki. Yuki Marie. Yuki means snow in Japanese but im scared she will be judged in school. But I love it

Yuki is a great name!! I love it so much, it's so beautiful!! Honestly don't worry about being her being judged by her peers. You can name her something like Natile or Aria or something else and she might still get teased and judged. 
Erin- air head for example. I knew an Amber- Amber Waves of Grain. Kids are mean. A name has very little to do with bullying actually. If they're going to be a punk- nothing can save you. Go with Yuki, it a great name!!

Eeks. I think that's a mistake. I'd keep it as a nick name. Consider Snowden as a first name and the nickname Yuki will be perfect :) just my personal opinion

I'm in the same boat. I want to name my girl Sayuri Isabella (Sayuri means small lily in Japanese) but my family is already making fun of it and some of them are saying they'll make fun of her name even after she's born. 
My hubby and I think it's beautiful, but I really don't want my daughter to have to deal with the trauma of her own family bullying her. Still not sure what to do. Good luck and feel free to shoot me a message if you need to talk!

I see Asian women (in Asia, not living in America), who have "English/American" names, so I don't see why you can't name your child Yuki if you love it.

I had a friend in middle/high school named yuki, she was half Japanese half Mexican..everyone thought her name was unique and never got made of..I think it's cute

My sister named her daughter Yuki, it's just a name and if you like it, use it. Don't worry about wt other people think, it's not their decision. No matter what you do... you can't please everyone, so please the most important persons in your life you and your fam.
