Anyone volunteer in your community?

My husband and I just started volunteering at the VA and the animal shelter we are excited too learn new things!

I teach free prenatal classes to teens and those who cannot afford to pay for classes. I also have 'by donation' classes too. It balances out. But then I also have the regular classes for regular income people that pay my price.

For anyone who said they will look into volunteering some wonderful places to volunteer are:

VA
Food Bank
Homeless Shelter 
Hospital 
Senior Center (seriously just go to talk with the seniors many are lonely)
Advocates for Victims of Violence 
Animal Shelter (volunteer to walk the dogs)
Local Museums ( help preserve your local history and learn a lot)
Local Library 
Red Cross

At one point my garage was a food bank. 
No joke. 
My roommate and I had 3 refrigerators and 2 freezers, and one whole wall that was nothing but shelf space. 
She still has it running, every weekend 😊

I volunteer at different places around town, most recently I volunteered to be part of a focus group for our hospital.

Thank you for volunteering at the VA though. My husband is a disabled veteran and it's wonderful to know that there are people who truly care and want to help those that have served our country.

Im so bad, I dont get call backs for jobs nor voluneerig positions lol a bit pathetic. So I want to click yes,  but I dont since I never hear back!

I volunteer in my school's chemistry lab, last semester at a non profit children's organization, and in the past at blood drives, local festivals/fairs, at an elementary school, and a couple other places :)
