After daycare expenses, u r still left with good chunk of money that can be used for regular monthly expenses.. if after daycare, you were left with hardly anything, then it would not have made sense to continue with the job.

I'm not aware of your cost/standard to living but it would seem you could swing not working. However, it's entirely a personal decision.
