What does your cervix feel like before period? And when pregnant?

Infound out yesterday that I am pregnant! I was just wondering  what others cervix felt like during cycle?

I'm not gonna stick my hands in there and find out. I've never observed my cervix. I don't want to irritate it and cause bleeding while pregnant, not to mention the germs I'd be spreading.

It's fine if you wash your hands first! Before my period my cervix always feels soft, low and open.  I don't remember what my cervix felt like in my past pregnancy.
